NBCLC was privileged to conduct the seminar for Religious Superiors and Formators from 28th July to 04th August 2021. Twenty one sisters from different congregations attended the seminar. The Seminar began with a hymn to the Holy Spirit. Lighting of Indian lamp was done by the Bishop elect Fr. Rayappan, the resource person of the day, Fr. John Baptist and few participants

The other Resource persons for the seminar were Fr. Jerry Rosario SJ, Fr. Shyam Prasad fdcc, Fr. Tony Thampi csc, Sr. Lidwin Fernandes ufs, Fr. D. Alphonse, Sr. Jessy Merline SMMI, Bro. Lambert SG and Fr. A. John Baptist- Director, NBCLC.

The Topics were Ethics and Moral issues in Religious life, Mission- Leadership in Present Indian scenario, Emerging Profile of Religious leader in India, Self- Confiding in Mid-life transition, Women Empowerment and gender justice in Church and Society. Leadership in view of Vatican II & Post Vatican, Recent documents of Pope Francis. Balancing the dichotomy of youth and elder of the community today and on the last day, Leadership – Models in the Bible.

The participants felt that these eight days of their stay at NBCLC was comfortable, enlightening and enriching with meaningful prayer and liturgy. The participants left NBCLC with a resolve that they will try to make a difference in and around them.

The daily routine of morning and evening prayers and the Holy Eucharist amongst peaceful and sylvan surroundings was a truly divine and rejuvenating experience.
