'Mid life a time to simplify your life and enjoy living'.

It's indeed a great privileged to all of us to attend this seminar. The seminar began with the prayer service by Sr. Deepa Jenath FBS and Sr.Nisha CTC. In this Seminar, 16 Religious women participated from different parts of India.

We started our seminar on 11 ^th April and ended on 15 ^th April. Before starting the session, we had inaugural ceremony starting with lighting of the lamp. Fr. John Baptist, the director of NBCLC introduced the course and Resource person Fr. Gabriel Mathias OFM who was to take the sessions for us.

We had five sessions every day three session in the morning and two in the afternoon. All the sessions were well organised, well prepared and presented by Fr. Gabriel Mathias OFM,

Fr. Gabriel Matthias was the resource person who led the session in a very lively and vibrant manner. The session was very much thought provoking some of the Major themes he dealt was Erickson’s eight stages of life, Stress and coping with stress. Burnout, Depression, sex, intimacy and friendships at Mid- Life, self actualization Were very much inspiring. He not only spoke theory but brought out the examples of real life situations and was very apt to the topic. Also the various video clips which were presents on the different people who were depressed and also the life story of Manisha Koirala which left us in deep silence. . The sharing sessions helped us to know ourselves and others and brought us more closely.

The different questions which were given to reflect upon ourselves made us to aware of our strengths and weaknesses. The questioners on stress which made us to evaluate ourselves and to know where we are it was a real help to understand. He also quoted on Tony D’ mellos meditations.

Our stay here was a very enjoyable one. Coming from different places and living together was a great opportunity we thank God for this blessings. Here the staff was very kind and gentle took care of all our needs. The sisters conducted the prayers in a creative way which made us feel God’s presence very closely. Finally, this seminar ends with lot of energetic manner. We thanking to NBCLC.
