The National Biblical, Catechetical and Liturgical Centre (NBCLC), Bengaluru, organised a four-day Training Programme in Word Preaching Ministry (WPM) from 20 to 23 October 2026, based on the biblical theme, “The Word of God never fails” (Romans 9:6).

A total of 32 participants, comprising priests, religious, and lay faithful, attended the programme to deepen their understanding of the Word of God and strengthen their skills in proclaiming it effectively in their respective ministries.

The programme was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Nysson Luka, Assistant Director of NBCLC, who also served as the resource person. The sessions integrated biblical formation, prayer, meditation, reflection, Word-sharing, and practical training.

The daily schedule included the Eucharistic celebration, morning prayer, meditation, exposition and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and intercessory prayer. These spiritual activities helped participants deepen their relationship with the Word of God and grow in their commitment to proclaiming it through their personal lives and pastoral ministries. The programme concluded on 23 October 2026, enriching participants spiritually and equipping them for their mission of sharing and proclaiming the Word of God. It reaffirmed NBCLC’s commitment to promoting biblical formation and strengthening Word-based ministry in the Church.
