From May 1st to 13th, 2024, the National Biblical Catechetical and Liturgical Centre (NBCLC) provided a nurturing environment for 13 junior women and men religious from diverse congregations, offering a transformative two-week course designed to ignite their passion for service. Under the insightful guidance of Rev. Fr. Nysson Luka, the program served as a crucible for spiritual and ministerial growth.

The course featured a rich tapestry of topics, addressing the contemporary challenges and opportunities facing young religious. Esteemed resource persons, including Fr. Jayanathan VG, Fr. Thampi Kayala CSC, Sr. Virginia SAB, and Fr. Jerry Rosario SJ, shared their expertise on a wide range of subjects, from the impact of social media on modern society to the importance of interfaith harmony and the profound spirituality of prayer.

Beyond intellectual engagement, the program emphasized the holistic development of its participants. Daily spiritual exercises provided moments of contemplative reflection, fostering a deeper connection with God. Practical work, such as gardening and cooking, instilled a sense of shared responsibility and grounded the participants in the realities of daily life.
